Celebrate the heart of winter in the quiet, healing forests of the
Temagami wilderness. Daily yoga is the focus, with forays in
snowshoeing, xc skiing, pilates, watercolor painting and cooking with
wild flavours. Saunas, natural facials and vegetarian, organic cuisine
complement this holistic retreat. Includes three nights lodging, and
nine vegetarian, organic meals.

Imagine walking beside a creature over
three hundred years old and upwards of sixty feet. These ancient red
and white pine are the largest remaining stands in North America--
trees that have witnessed 300 years of history! This weekend is a
combination of comfort, activity and learning, featuring naturalist
canoe guides and special guest presentations in the evening. The end
result is total rejuvenation. Go ahead, hug a tree. They hug back!

growth interpretive naturalists and canoe guides, paddling tips,

Get
your hands dirty in the Temagami wilderness in this workshop foraging
for wild edibles and medicinals. Gently hike in the forest and discover
a variety
of indigenous plants that each tell a story about Temagami. Then follow
the chef Caryn Colman into her kitchen and learn how to turn
them into dinner. Wild mushrooms, stinging nettle, day lilies,
dandelion, milkweed, rose petals and cedar are all fair game when it
comes to breads, appetizers and desserts. You'll die for our wild rose
ice cream!
This program is a combination
of taste, activity and learning, featuring regional, organic

draw and photograph Temagami's most beautiful and inspiring
wilderness landscapes. Old growth pine forests, sparkling lakes,
rocky shores, high vistas, haunted hamlets, abandoned silver mines and
more are featured in this week-long gathering for self-directed
artists. We'll work daily, sometimes getting to location by canoe,
other times by a little walking. Colour exercises, technique demos, and
sharing of ideas are key elements in this enjoyable, creative learning
experience that will open up your artist’s eye. Open to all media.

regional, wild, and organic cuisine.

gathering place for the fascinating and the curious. We invite you to
come have dinner with our special guest speaker. Then stay and listen
to their unique perspective and presentation of Temagami and
northeastern Ontario. It's another way to absorb Temagami's magic.
Previous guests have been historians, artists, scientists, musicians, and authors including Bruce Hodgins, Bill Plumstead, Bernie Jaworsky, Bruce Taylor, Les Wilcox, Claire Smerdon and James Saville.
