more are featured in this week-long gathering for self-directed

other times by a little walking. Colour exercises, technique demos, and
sharing of ideas are key elements in this enjoyable, creative learning
experience that will open up your artist’s eye. Open to all media.

your hands dirty in the Temagami wilderness in this workshop foraging
for wild edibles and medicinals. Gently hike in the forest and discover
a variety
of indigenous plants that each tell a story about Temagami. Then follow
the chef Caryn Colman into her kitchen and learn how to turn
them into dinner. Wild mushrooms, stinging nettle, day lilies,
dandelion, milkweed, rose petals and cedar are all fair game when it
comes to breads, appetizers and desserts. You'll die for our wild rose
ice cream!
This program is a combination
